Kristen Elise Blum
Kristen Elise Blum Kristen Blum has served as a member of our board of directors since August 2016. She has more than 25 years of experience in developing strategies and designing information technology solutions in the retail and consumer goods industries. Kristen has served as senior vice president and chief information officer of Frito-Lay since 2015 where she leads the technology agenda for PepsiCo's $14 billion snack and convenience foods business. Kristen previously served PepsiCo as senior vice president and chief information officer of commercial solutions, innovation, data and analytics from 2013-15 where she was responsible for creating global, enterprise data and analytics solutions. She was PepsiCo’s senior vice president and chief information officer of enterprise solutions from 2010-12. Kristen also served as executive vice president and chief technology officer of J.C. Penney Co., Inc. from 2012-13 and as senior vice president and chief information officer of Abercrombie & Fitch from 2006-10 where she oversaw the information technology function of both of these organizations.

Joseph M. Fortunato Joseph Fortunato has served as a member of our board of directors since 2013 and assumed his role as chairman in February 2017. Joseph has a long track record as an executive of a successful retail company and years of financial and operational experience. He has been operating partner at J.W. Childs Associates, L.P., an operationally focused private equity firm, since January 2017, and executive chairman of Comoto Holdings, Inc., the parent company of Cycle Gear Inc. and RevZilla Motorsports, since January 2016.

He served GNC Holdings, Inc., a global specialty retailer of health and wellness products, as consultant from 2014-17 and as chairman of the board, chief executive officer and president from 2005-14. Joseph served in various executive roles with GNC Holdings, Inc. from 1990-2005 including senior executive vice president and chief operating officer, executive vice president of retail operations and store development, senior vice president of financial operations and director of financial operations. Joseph previously served on the board of directors of Mattress Firm Holding Corp., a retailer of mattresses and bedding-related products, from 2012-16. He earned his undergraduate degree in Finance at Duquesne University in 1975.

Terri Funk Graham

Terri Funk Graham has served as a member of our board of directors since 2013. Terri has more than 26 years of experience in the marketing and restaurant industries. She has held the position of chief marketing officer of Origin Entertainment, Inc., a broad-based film and television company, since March 2016. Terri previously served on the board of directors of 1-800 Contacts, the largest online retailer of contacts in the US, from 2015-16 and was chief marketing officer of Red Envelope for Provide Commerce, Inc., an e-commerce gifting company, from 2013-14. She served on the board of Hot Topic, Inc., a formerly publicly traded mall and web-based specialty retailer, from 2012-13. From 2007-12, Terri was senior vice president and chief marketing officer at Jack in the Box, Inc., a restaurant company that operates and franchises the Jack in the Box and Qdoba Mexican Grill restaurants. Terri, who joined Jack in the Box, Inc. in 1990, previously served as the company’s vice president and chief marketing officer from 2004-07, vice president of marketing from 2003-04 and vice president of brand communications and regional marketing from 2002-03.

Lawrence P. Molloy

Lawrence Molloy has served as a member of our board of directors since 2013. He has rich perspective as a senior financial executive and is well versed in financial accounting and operational matters in the retail industry. He most recently served as chief financial officer for Under Armour, Inc., a leading manufacturer and seller of performance footwear, apparel and equipment, until february 2017. He was senior advisor to Roark Capital Group from 2014-15 and served PetSmart, Inc. as special advisor from 2013-14 and as executive vice president and chief financial officer from 2007-13. Lawrence was employed by Circuit City Stores, Inc., a national consumer electronics retailer, where he served as chief financial officer of retail from 2006-07, vice president of financial planning and analysis from 2004-06 and as director of financial planning and analysis from 2003-04. Prior to Circuit City, he served in various leadership, planning and strategy roles for Capital One Financial Corporation, AGL Capital Investments, LLC and Deloitte and Touche Consulting Group. He served 10 years in the US Navy as a fighter pilot, later retiring from the Navy Reserve with a rank of commander. He has been designated an audit committee financial expert as defined in applicable SEC rules.

Joseph O'Leary Joseph (Joe) O’Leary has served as a member of our board of directors since October 2017. He has served as a Director of Francesca’s Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ: FRAN), a growing specialty retailer which operates a nationwide-chain of boutiques, since 2013, and PetSmart, Inc., the largest specialty pet retailer of services and solutions for the lifetime needs of pets, since 2015. Joe also served as a director of Big Heart Pet Brands, a producer, distributor and marketer of premium quality, branded pet products, from 2014-15. He previously served in various executive leadership roles with PetSmart, including most recently as president and chief operating officer from 2013-14, as well as executive vice president of merchandising, marketing, supply chain and strategic planning from 2011-13, senior vice president of merchandising from 2010-11, senior vice president of merchandising and supply chain from 2008-10, and senior vice president of supply chain from 2006-08. Before joining PetSmart, Joe served as chief operating officer of Human Touch, LLC, a leading supplier of massage chairs in the United States, from 2005-06, and various logistics leadership roles with Gap Inc. (NYSE: GPS), a leading global retailer offering clothing, accessories and personal care products, from 1999-2005, culminating as senior vice president, supply chain strategy and global logistics. Prior to 1999, he held positions at Mothercare plc, Coopers & Lybrand LLP, and BP International.

Jack L. Sinclair

Jack Sinclair, our chief executive officer and board member, brings more than 35 years of experience in retail and grocery to Sprouts.

He was previously chief executive officer of 99 Cents Only Stores LLC, a premier discount retailer with over 350 locations in the United States, since 2018. Prior to that, he was chief merchandising officer from 2015 to 2018. From 2007 to 2015, Jack was the executive vice president of the U.S. Grocery Division of Walmart, Inc., where he led all aspects of Walmart’s U.S. grocery business at its more than 4,000 stores, which generated substantial growth under his leadership through a focus on local assortment and fresh foods. Jack also spent 14 years at Safeway PLC in London where he was responsible for operations, merchandising and marketing for over 450 Safeway supermarket and convenience store locations throughout the United Kingdom. He has served on the board of directors of The Hain Celestial Group, a leading marketer, manufacturer and seller of organic and natural products, since 2017.

Jack earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and marketing from The University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland.

Steven H. Townsend Steven Townsend has served as a member of our board of directors since 2013. He has more than 31 years of senior management, financial, operational, information systems and human resources experience. Steven has served as a director of Velocity Brands, LLC since 2010, ME Holding Corporation, parent company of Massage Envy, LLC, a leading provider of therapeutic massage and skincare services, since 2012 and Pet Value, a specialty retailer of pet food and pet related supplies, since 2015. He previously served United Natural Foods Inc., the largest publicly traded wholesale distributor of natural foods, as consultant from 2005-06, chairman from 2003-05, chief executive officer from 2003-05 and president from 2001-05. He also held the roles of chief financial officer and chief operating officer of UNFI after he joined in 1981 as controller. Steven previously held management positions at Harris Corporation and Tupperware Corporation and has been a director of Vault USA, LLC since 2008. He served as director of SI Bancorp MHC., SI Financial Group Inc., Savings Institute Bank and Trust Company, Global Energy Holdings Group Inc. and SunOpta Inc. Steven holds an MBA in Management and Information Systems and a B.S. in Accounting, Summa Cum Laude from Bryant College. He has been designated an audit committee financial expert as defined in applicable SEC rules.
